Hello everyone!
The Archer Lodge Fire Department asked me to come by each day and help spread the joy of fire prevention with you all. It is my pleasure to do so and I look forward to learning myself and taking this experience back to the North Pole on Christmas night.
Tonight I’m getting to know the firefighters at the station and hanging out. They have shared so much knowledge about fire safety and I can’t wait to share this with you in the days to come. It has also been really cool getting to see the big red fire truck. I was issued my gear as you can see in the picture incase we have to go to work tonight. They said they could use my help in the tight spaces. Enough about me though.
I want you to get together as a family and establish a safe meeting space. This shouldn’t be in the street or at your mailbox. When the firefighters arrive at your home the last thing they want is for anyone to be run over. Chose a tree or any spot away from the home. Each home is different so you will have to do this together as a family to decide what’s best for you. Elf Ember and the crew at Archer Lodge Fire want you all to be safe when it comes to fire safety so this is your task for day 1.
I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow with our next fire safety tip!
Have a great day!
