Elf Ember went out with the truck today to check on some of the hydrants in the area.
You should never plant anything around a fire hydrant as it will hide it from the firefighters when we are looking them. You should never park blocking one either. A fir truck needs to be able to connect to a hydrant so that we have plenty of water when helping with a fire. If we can’t get to the it could result in running out of water.
