As we are in the middle of the hot days of summer, it’s that time to cool off and hit the water. Crews from our department, Clayton and Cleveland worked together on parts of the Neuse River to conduct multiple swift water rescue scenarios.
This is an annual event that will be held between all three departments as a team made up to to protect parts of Johnston County on the water. The team combines resources and personnel to train and respond to swift water, surface water, trench rescue, confined space rescue and high angle rescue.
We look forward to many more trainings and fellowship between the departments as we work together.
